Using #systemsthinking for #FoodSystems analysis: a new guide authored by Andrea M. Bassi for The Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity (TEEB).
Last year I worked with The Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity (TEEB) and UN Environment Programme on a guide for the use of #simulation #models for #FoodSystems analysis. You can find the guide at this link: https://lnkd.in/eKV9DUsn It proposes the use of #systemsthinking, identifies 7 key steps for the analysis of #foodsystems in alignment with the TEEB Foundations Report (https://lnkd.in/e6P8KcZD), and features many methods and models, both #qualitative and #quantitative. Some of these are actively used by The Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity (TEEB), the Nature-Based Infrastructure Global Resource Centre and World Food Programme, among others. Several case studies are available. Thank you @Salman Hussain and Jacob Salcone, PhD for your guidance and support.
