Pedrali supports “Stasera?Museo! - Food and drinks 2024”, the summer event proposed by Fondazione Brescia Musei with an aperitif in the beautiful setting of the Viridarium Park at Santa Giulia Museum, the green lung on the slopes of the Cidneo and in the shadow of the medieval fortress of Brescia Castle, taking place from 14th June to 8th September. Cultural, cinematographic, food and wine entertainment activities enliven summer days from aperitif until night.  The set up, curated by Pedrali, includes a relaxing area with sofas, armchairs, tables and lightings that contribute to creating a magical summer atmosphere. #pedrali #pedrali4art #outdoor #design 

Pedrali collections have been chosen for the Michelin-starred restaurant Contraste, in Milan: Ester armchairs by Patrick Jouin and Inox tables fit into an original yet elegant design with a unique character. Renowned for its innovative cuisine and unique atmosphere, it recently reopened its doors after a significant renovation. Founded in 2015 by three friends and partners – Uruguayan chef Matías Perdomo, Argentine sous-chef Simon Press and Italian maître Thomas Piras – Contraste is located on the mezzanine floor of an early nineteenth-century building. It serves as a quiet escape from the noise of the city featuring intimate dining rooms designed to ensure the utmost attention to service and guest care. The restyling project, signed by debonademeo design studio, renewed the rooms through a versatile and immersive layout, characterized by a sense of natural fluidity and the focuse was on connecting the historical soul of the location with the modern style of the interior design. Chosen to characterise the rooms of the restaurant, Ester armchairs designed by Patrick Jouin: a mix of elegance, ergonomics and functionality. Ester is a precious monolith of leather with soft and graceful lines, here proposed in the neutral shade of beige completed by refined die-cast aluminium legs. Pedrali unveils a new chapter of #PEDRALITALES, the 2024 advertising campaign that conveys the brand's elegant lifestyle through its outdoor collections, set in an outstanding location.  The photos were taken in Sicily at the beginning of summertime and reveal a contemporary style deeply connected with the surrounding landscape, rich in the typical colours and flavors of the Mediterranean scrub. The warm tones of the earth and the use of local materials dominate the scene – dry stone walls lit by the sun, built using local stones, recall the golden hues of honey, beige marble cobblestones, and walls covered with hand-painted majolica tiles echoing the colours of flowers and berries. These elements blend harmoniously with the pure and wild nature. Centuries-old almond trees, olive trees, cacti, succulents plants and aromatic herbs infuse the garden with the scents and history of the place. The flowers offer a rich palette of colours from yellow to pink and purple, transforming the landscape into a natural hand-painted painting. The sunlight reveals evocative shadows, creating rarefied and welcoming atmospheres, while in the background, the blue sea creates a breathtaking contrast. A genuine Mediterranean backdrop where Pedrali products stand out with bright and playful tones to highlight both their material texture and finishing assortments. These settings sublimate the beauty of the products but also emphasise the deep connection between design and the natural landscape where they are placed. Outdoor spaces’ design in recent years has been effected by significant changes, driven by trends of the sustainability, comfort, and aesthetic innovation. To emphasise the growing importance of outdoors in workspaces, every year, 13 June marks the Outdoor Office Day, which celebrates the necessity to work more healthily by taking the office outdoors. In recent years we have witnessed a rapid increase in open-air areas in which to work or relax, places where people want to go. In such settings, the furniture needs to be comfortable and weather resistant: in fact, this new scenario is influencing the design choices in the office plan where it's increasing the focus on open-air areas furnished with outdoor collections. This is because companies are aware of the many advantages that greenery brings to the workspaces: when there are outdoor spaces to relax in or when natural elements are introduced into the workplace, satisfaction and productivity increase, maintaining high levels of concentration. For the 5th time, Pedrali took part in the 55th edition of NeoCon, the historic fair in Chicago considered a platform for launching innovative ideas and products that make public spaces flexible and avant-garde. From 10 to 12 June, within the display spaces in The Mart, Pedrali presented seating, tables and ancillary furniture conceived for the workspaces. The 300 square meter (3300 square foot) Pedrali Permanent showroom located on the 3rd floor (suite 330) recreated various types of environments: modern and contemporary workspaces, breakout & collaborative areas. The main theme of NeoCon 2024, “Design Takes Shape”, underlined the essence of design as a transformative energy, shaping environments, experiences and innovations. The A&D community in the last few years has been rethinking the workspaces with new cross, hybrid areas that are far from traditional office. Within this constantly evolving scenario, the collections presented brought to life settings that summarised the different areas of the contemporary office, with flexible, versatile and fluid workspaces, increasingly oriented towards the emotional well-being and creativity of those who work there. Once again, Pedrali joined the project "alternanza scuola-lavoro" (school-to-work apprenticeship) for the students of "La Traccia" high school in Calcinate, Bergamo. For this eleventh edition, the company relied on the designer Alessandro Busana, who decided to dedicate the learning experience to the traditional art of origami. He asked the fourth-year students of the Art High School to conceive, design and physically realise an “Ori-seat”, a seating mainly made of cardboard. The students presented their projects on Wednesday 5th June, on the occasion of “A present passion”, the end-of-the-year festival taking place from May 31st to June 9th. Through their presence in schools, the initiatives of #pedrali4education aim to introduce young people to the working world and to pass on to them the craftsmanship on which the company founds its origins. #pedrali #pedrali4education #design #designer #school #art #origami
