The document, the first of its kind globally, is authored by the Reproduction Control Committee of the WSAVA (World Small Animal Veterinary Association) , chaired by Stefano Romagnoli. It examines both surgical and non-surgical methods, evaluating their pros and cons for long-term health, as well as ethical implications.
