We are proud to announce the successful commissioning of the Ecomatik chiller and Recumatik heat pump for A.D. Harvey's new plant for the simultaneous production of cooling at -12°C and heating at +80°C. We would like to publicly thank A.D. Harvey for their trust. It has been a long process, as the project idea was launched by Tom Harvey and Ivan Zudek back in 2021, but now we can finally say that it was delivered. This industry-first installation done together with Styne Group will guarantee substantial energy savings and carbon footprint reduction as the former refrigeration plant was replaced with our ammonia chiller and the heating, previously produced via gas-fired boilers, will be provided by our ammonia heat pump. The cooling will serve poultry temperature abatement, while the heating will be directed to scalding tanks. The chiller and the heat pump are connected via an intermediate water circuit and drycooler to accommodate the variable cooling and heating demands throughout the production.
