For over 20 years, I have been leading Maya Investments Limited, an investment company that focuses its portfolio on tech, digital, sustainability, impact and education sectors. I have a vision of creating positive social and environmental impact through innovative and scalable solutions that address the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century.
I also leverage my extensive experience and network in the mobile and internet industry as an investment committee member at FoolFarm, a prominent AI startup studio and corporate venture builder based in Milan, Italy, and as a board member of TrueLeap, an EdTech pioneer that improves global access to education through a smart and affordable LMS. I am passionate about supporting and mentoring entrepreneurs and organizations that share my values and goals of fostering creativity, inclusion, and excellence. Since 2015 I also serve as Board Member at ISPI, a prominent independent ThinkTank focusing on Geopolitics.
I’m the founder of Kaleyra Inc. (formerly Ubiquity) that got listed at NYSE in November 2019 and was acquired by Tata Communications in October 2023.
As a recognition of my achievements and contributions, I have been honoured as a Knight of the Italian Republic in 2020.
