During my career, first as a transport infrastructures designer and after as a Project Manager and Team Leader, I acquired a deep experience working on the design process and its related activities.

I like to emphasize that this is a whole-around effort that reflects in my skills to interface with various experts from different branches eg. environmental, hydraulic, structures, social, economy experts etc. This made me develop strong problem solving, management and coordination capabilites, leading the team to its targets: in this sense I strongly support an approach oriented to planning, timing, costs and results effectiveness.

The main objective of my work is always to find the best balance through project performances, satisfying both customers and stakeholders expectations, which obviously involves not only engineering, but also communication and coordination, inside and outside the team.

According to this, by the almost 15 years of my career, through a wide range of projects and contexts (also in developing countries), I acquired a deep experience about:
- motorways, highways, roads, railways, underground lines and their assets (eg. interchanges, toll plazas, parking areas, connection roads etc.) at any design stage
- project teams coordination and leading
- transport infrastructures and terminals design
- corridor analysis and planning
- motorway/railway tunnels safety systems
- pavements engineering
- feasibility studies and project economic evaluations
- tender consultancy services and due diligence
- on site surveys, diagnostics and field data collection
- value engineering approach for project optimization
- design software and 3D simulation tools, eg. MOSS-MX, Civil Design, Sierrasoft ROADS, Autodesk-Civil3D, Pavement DG2002, BISAR, KenLayer, ACCA Primus, AutoCAD, World Bank HDM4, MicrosoftWindows (7/Vista/XP), MicrosoftOffice Package, VisualBASIC for Office, MicrosoftProject, GIMP2, SketchUp.
