Born in Milan in 1963, Luca Alippi is the CEO of EP Produzione S.p.A., the industrial holding of the EPH Group in Italy, active in the power generation business. Capacity installed in Italy is ca. 4.300 MW (5 gas fired plants CCGT and OCGT and 1 coal fired power plant, ca. 600 MW). Ca. 540 employees.
Previous work experiences:
- 2000-June 2015 E.ON Group: General Manager of E.ON Energia S.p.A., the company responsible for the sales of power, gas and energy solutions in Italy, from July 2011. Before, he lead the start-up of the first companies active in Italy following the energy market liberalization. The focus was initially on the power wholesales and then included also power generation. Along the time he had various top management positions in different companies of the Group in Italy. He was responsible for Corporate Development of E.ON Italia during the integration of Endesa Italia in 2008 and later Director of Generation Projects and Economics. He also took part to several international projects.

With a degree in Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, later he attended senior executive trainings at Stanford Graduate School of Business (USA) and at Ashridge Business School (UK).
