Digital Workplace Manager

The position:

The Digital Workplace Manager is responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and management of digital workplace solutions. This role focuses on enhancing employee experience, productivity, and collaboration through the effective use of technology and digital tools. The Digital Workplace Manager will work closely with IT, HR, and other departments to ensure seamless integration and adoption of digital platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital workplace strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives.
  • Identify emerging digital trends and assess their potential impact on the workplace.

Technology Implementation:

  • Oversee the deployment of digital tools and platforms such as collaboration software, communication tools, and remote working solutions.
  • Ensure the integration of various digital workplace systems to provide a seamless user experience.

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage digital workplace projects from conception through implementation and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met on time and within budget.

Employee Experience:

  • Advocate for employee needs in the design and implementation of digital workplace solutions.
  • Conduct training sessions and develop materials to ensure employees are proficient with new digital tools and platforms.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of digital workplace solutions and implement improvements as needed.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and ROI of digital workplace initiatives.

Change Management:

  • Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate the adoption of new digital tools and processes.
  • Communicate changes effectively to all stakeholders and provide continuous support during transitions.

Vendor Management:

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure vendors meet performance and service level agreements.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, digital transformation, or workplace technology management.
  • Proven track record of managing digital workplace projects and initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of digital workplace technologies (e.g., Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Apple, cloud computing).
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with change management principles and practices.
