National Sales Director

For our client, an international leading company in the high-end bathroom accessories and taps industry, we are seeking an experienced National Sales Director to lead the Sales and Marketing departments in Italy. Focusing on growing their business through strategic market direction. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts and marketing to achieve business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Total responsibility for national Key-Accounts.
  • Order entry and net turnover: planning, achievement of targets and profit margins within the market.
  • Leadership, monitoring and coaching of all assigned sales functions.
  • Target agreement with customer: planning, realization of activities, monitoring of achievement targets.
  • Management of cost budgets.
  • Continuous analysis of markets, description of deviation and development of appropriate activities to achieve targets in synchronization with the correspondent departments in HQ.
  • Implementation of the Sales & Marketing strategy for the market.
  • Organizing sell-in and sell-out activities in a push and pull concept.
  • Contact to opinion leader in the market and networking towards the top decision makers.
  • Continuous flow of information to departments in HQ.
  • Preparation and realization of annual and bi-annual meetings with “Top 10 customer “.
  • Organize specified business in Commercial Project and Consumer Architect channel.
  • Activate and intensify network of investors, developers, architect firms.
  • Planning of cost budgets and management of achievement.


Requirements

  • Senior Sales Management experience, with a proven track record of developing and leading sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of the premium brand market and experience selling highend products.
  • Excellent networking skills, with a strong network of contacts in the industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on change and innovation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of English proficiency.
  • Experience in managing a full team, with multiple management levels.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility in work hours and willingness to travel frequently (50-60%).
