With the AAM industry beginning to really pick up steam, our team at SkyScape Vertiports is seeing more and more inquiries from local and regional aviation sites who are trying to get a better sense of how to enable AAM services from their location. With site by site specific infrastructure needs, application procedures, development timelines and more, its a long process to say the least. To reduce these friction points, I'm happy to announce our #startup has partnered with Rasha Alshami and the LYNEports team to enable a smoother development process regarding vertiport siting and assessment 🎉 Our two groups will be collaborating in the N. American and APAC #markets to deploy their site assessment software within our Vertiport service offer. It has been a pleasure working with Rasha and her team up until now and we can't wait to see the impact this makes for our clients going forward in the #future ! In collaboration with the Osaka 2025 World Expo, Team Expo Co-Creation Showcase, I'm proud to announce this new initiative from our #startup SkyScape Vertiports, the Rural Reach Aviation Challenge. Japan as well as a number of countries around the world are seeing an exodus from rural communities into urban centers. This dwindling rural population has put both financial and operational strain on many of the rural medical facilities in the area, sometimes leading to their closure. Often times this strands many elderly residents nearby in what i'll call medical access "deserts", forcing them to travel large distances to access care. At the same time, regional emergency response capacity and overall readiness also begin to suffer. To alleviate this negative feedback loop, our team, in coordination with other Expo members, will look to connect rural locations to regional high capacity medical centers via #Vertiport infrastructure establishment. The creation of this direct access link will allow citizens to more easily receive medical care and aid in the #future , while also improving connectivity and emergency service response in the case of a natural disaster. At SkyScape we truly believe the AAM #markets can be a catalyst for improved community resiliency and with this initiative we aim to show just that. One of the best parts of Japan is the depth we have to our seasons. #NEWS: Eve and SkyScape Vertiports, a Japanese vertiport development and management company, have announced an agreement to use Eve’s Urban Air Traffic Management (Urban ATM) solution as a part of the Advanced Air Mobility concept of operations published by the Japanese government. The announcement makes SkyScape Eve’s 13th Urban ATM customer, and it becomes its sixth Urban ATM vertiport customer.   “This agreement represents a key milestone for Eve as Skyscape becomes our first Urban ATM customer in Japan as we continue to grow our portfolio of vertiport customers around the world,” said David R., Eve’s Vice President of Sales and Government Affairs. “Japan has been very proactive and is a global leader in pursuing urban air mobility.
