🌟Our final workshop, Session 4: Finding Internships and Job Hunting Resources, was a huge success! We discussed where to find internships, how to apply for jobs, and wrapped up with an inspiring job-hunting story from Gaurav Kumar, one of our talented JPort interns. His journey provided invaluable insights and motivation for the JPort Ambassadors, who made sure to take advantage of the Q&A session to ask about ways to stand out in the application process, as well as Japan-specific insights into job hunting. This wraps up our series of workshops for the JPort Ambassador Program, and we will now be moving on to career consultations between our JPort Senpai-Mentors and Ambassadors!

⭐️ Exciting times ahead! JPort's community marketer Nicole recently traveled to the beautiful region of Kyushu to support a JPort event organized by our JPort Ambassadors in Ritsumeikan APU! While there, she had the fantastic opportunity to meet up with the inspiring JPort Ambassador community in Kyushu! 🇯🇵   ✨ At JPort, we're all about building meaningful connections, sharing ideas, and spreading the love for our vibrant community.

⭐️ What a day! The JPort team had an amazing meetup with our Tokyo-based JPort Ambassadors: Minh, Anu, Prapti, Yijing, Huyen, and Yuna! 🎉 We were also joined by our awesome JPort Senpais, Riya-san and Clark-san, for bowling 🎳💼 Over dinner, Riya-san and Clark-san shared invaluable tips on landing that dream job, and we all connected deeply, sharing experiences and ideas. It was a fantastic day of building connections and learning from each other. Who knew job hunting pros could also have such a good time bowling? 😄

Our community marketer Nicole Vizconde recently traveled to Beppu, Oita to support a collaboration event with Ritsumeikan APU and had the wonderful opportunity to meet with our JPort Ambassadors, Rio Razendra Mukti Lindarto, Kyi Shin Thant, Ananya Sathish, Pham Thuy Trang, and Neariah Gunawardena from APU! Together, they worked on an inspiring event for APU students, together with three Ritsumeikan APU alumni-turned-JPort Senpais, Savina Wahyudiana-san, Anindya Pradipta-san, and Haotian Gu, CFA-san! We're so proud of our JPort Ambassadors who not only collaborated with Nicole on the event, but also represented us to their university! It would not have been possible without them!

So grateful to have finally been able to visit APU in person and have held a hybrid event thanks to the APU Career Center! Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University is home to a lot of our senpais at JPort and yesterday we invited Anindya-san, Savina-san and Haotian-san to join us and share their job-hunting experience with the students. Some key takeaways were: 🌎 Working in a multinational company doesn’t mean you exclusively work in English. Since these companies want to expand to the Japanese market, your clients would be Japanese so a certain level of Japanese is needed! 🔗 Don’t do job-hunting alone! Get practical support from your career center, network with people in the field, ask your senpais for advice, get Japanese friends to check your entry sheet, etc. Grateful to have the JPort Ambassadors of APU at the event to help with facilitating (Ananya), tech support (Rio), getting people to the venue (Trang), pre-event prep (Neariah), and promotion (all the gang + Kyi)! 💓 Hopefully you enjoyed our fabulous dinner ww
