🤖Today is Featured Stories Friday🌟 🚗Today, the #automotive industry is going through a technological revolution referred to as #CASE (Connected, Autonomous Driving, Sharing & Services, Electrification). 📱Because #smartphone interoperability is an essential part of this trend, technologies enabling easy wireless charging inside vehicles are being watched closely. 💥However... Charger units of conventional #wireless charging systems are often bulky. Additionally, there is the need to integrate #NFC—a requirement for virtual keys. 💡#TDK has developed an in-vehicle wireless charging #patterncoil that addresses most existing issues with smartphone interoperability. It does not only offer a thinner coil unit, but also integrates NFC antenna. Additionally, TDK’s new charging coil requires only one coil, while conventional designs required three coils. 📱 Why is it better to use Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs) for wireless chargers? 💡In resonant circuits used for #wirelesschargers and DC-DC converters, film capacitors have traditionally been used. However, advancements in the capacity expansion and high voltage resistance of #MLCCs have made it possible to replace film capacitors in such applications. 🌟Additionally, their usage on applications like wireless chargers, has proven to be advantageous. ❓Why? This comes mainly due to two factors: 💥 They have a low ESR, so they can reduce losses in resonance capacitors and contribute to improved #powerefficiency. 💥They are more compact and have a lower profile compared to film capacitors, making it possible to further #reduce the size of the assembly. 👇To learn in-depth about MLCCs efficiency for wireless chargers, check the tests conducted at the article below: https://bit.ly/4chQIbc #TDK
