    It is great to give back to society. While I was a Planning Manager, I was honoured to have chances to successfully launch three South East Asia (SEA) Conventions which raised funds and CSR activities for blind associations and societies, and orphan's homes in Malaysia:

    To raise funds and awareness, I invited Adibah Noor with her award winning heart warming song "Terlalu Istimewa (You are so Special)" in the first SEA Convention and raised RM50,000.

It also scored well in the prestigious Magnum Opus Awards 2009, walking away with a Gold for Best Feature/Design and an Honourable Mention for Best Overall Design, Bronze Award for Best Cover in 2013.

    Diversity and inclusion (D&I/DEI) drives innovation, creativity, risktaking and revenue. There are statistics that underscore what we know to be true. It is not something separate from good business. Values that promote creativity encourage risk-taking and avoid conformity and seek to understand diverse markets are strong business practices. I advanced diversity and fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging.

    2. I was instrumental in leading and promoting D&I (DEI) initiatives such as improving mental health as the D&I Champion for the Asia Pacific Media team at Bloomberg.
    3. I advocated for intersectionality and provided strategic advice on the firm's global self-identification campaign across diverse groups, such as promoting new families, collaborating with supporting community for people with disabilities.

  • BPROUD: Embracing Authentic Self at Work and Society

    In his National Day speech on 21st August 2022, Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong announced that the government would repeal Section 377A of the Penal Code, which criminalises sexual activity between men. Section 377A was officially repealed on 29 November 2022, following a 10-hour debate that began the previous day. It was a big, but partial win for local LGBT+ activists in Singapore, who made great strides in getting their message to resonate in a generally socially conservative…

    Planned and executed a series of discussion sessions by inviting a local attorney who has been a strong advocate. With other advocacy and awareness-raising events, resulting in a 33% growth in membership for BPROUD, LQBTQ+ Pride Community in 2022, also paved a way to celebrate the 10-year celebration in during Pride month 2023. I was instrumental in effort in striving for inclusion in the workplace in Singapore where embracing self-identity has been a big issue.

  • Bus wrapping ad for Sky Premium

    To strengthen the brand’s market identity, the ad wrapping bus is going to hit the streets of downtown Singapore from second week of August to October 2015. Developed the idea and art directed the ad.

    Delivered the mobile first front-end experience at Bloomberg microsite on Bloomberg.com. Managed the production of the campaign: worked closely with the writer and creative team with user-optimized flows, motion graphics and information architectures to communicate with users effectively in English and Japanese.

    Art directed with the inspiration of a coming-back analogue trend called risograph in post-pandemic time. Created with user-optimized flows, motion graphics and produced with an independent production house and content studio. Optimized content flows easily between desktop and mobile devices to provide the user with an outstanding experience.

    When we engage and collaborate with these new voices, we unlock a universe of experts and influencers to elevate and amplify brand's leadership.

    The Youtube channel has earned 9.88K subscribers, and its viewership is around 700K, heavily using social media platforms such as instagram and others.

    ​This project won a 2018 Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards Gold Award, and Best Branded Content Series B2C (Shortlist) and Branded Content Science & Technology awards at the 44th Annual Telly Awards in 2023.
