🤝Executives of GS E&C met with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, who is visiting South Korea, to discuss mutual cooperation plans for GS E&C`s projects in Vietnam. On the 3rd July, at Lotte Hotel in Sogong-dong, Seoul, GS E&C President Yoon Hong Huh, Advisor Huh Myung-soo, CFO Chae Heon-geun, and Investment Development Group Head Huh Jin-hong met with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to discuss mutual cooperation plans for their projects in Vietnam. GS E&C is actively investing in the development of new urban areas in Vietnam, such as the Nhabe New Town Development Project, Longbin New Town Development Project, and Thuthiem Residential Development Project, and is especially focusing on developing Ho Chi Minh Nhabe New Town into a smart city centered around an advanced technology IT Park.🌟

🎉 This morning, we held the "Joyful After-School Care Partnership" ceremony! 🎉 The event, which was attended by the Superintendent of Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, Yoon Hong Huh the CEO of GS E&C, and the Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at Green Umbrella Children's Foundation, announced our plans to renovate after-school care program spaces for 4 more schools in 2024, transforming them into safe and positive learning environments for elementary students. 🏫🤝 From our "Dream and Hope Study Rooms" program providing bright spaces for children to study at home 🏠📚, to the "Dream and Hope Playgrounds" program where children can play and have fun with friends 🛝🤸♂️, and the "Joyful After-School Care Partnership" offering spacious areas for after-school activities 🏫🎨, GS E&C's commitment to supporting the next generation continues! 🌟💪 #ESG #GrowSustainably #GSEnC

🔋The era of the battery circular economy is fast approaching with many countries around the world introducing battery recycling legislation and targets. China has introduced a system where battery producers are responsible for collecting and disposing of spent batteries while the EU announced new laws that determine how batteries are collected, reused and recycled. Energy Materials, a subsidiary of GS E&C, plans to be a major player in the race for carbon neutrality and so construction is underway for a battery recycling plant located in Pohang city with the initial capability of recovering 4,500 tons of nickel, cobalt, lithium and manganese each year. 🎬You can learn more about Energy Materials’ battery recycling process (with English subtitles) in the YouTube video below. ↓↓
