Police served a search warrant at the home of Chad Daybell on Tuesday, according to a statement from the Rexburg Police Department.

Fremont County Sheriff's deputies, officers with the Rexburg Police Department and the FBI arrived at the residence at approximately 7 a.m. on the 200 block of 1900 East.

Rexburg police confirmed the search warrant pertains to Lori Daybell's, his wife's, missing children, 17-year-old Tylee Ryan and 7-year-old Joshua "JJ" Vallow. However, the warrant is sealed so no other information is currently available to the public. Roads around the home are closed and that no one has been taken into custody, according to East Idaho News.

This the second time a search warrant has been served at Daybell's home in recent months.

A total of 43 items were removed from the home on Jan. 3. Officers searched a shed. They also used metal detectors, probes and rakes to go over several areas of the yard, East Idaho News reported.

Lori Daybell is currently being held in the Madison County Jail on a $1 million bond in connection to the disappearance of Ryan and Vallow. Ryan was last seen in Yellowstone National Park with her mother, uncle and brother in September 2019

Shortly after the trip, Vallow was last seen on a surveillance camera playing in their Rexburg neighborhood.

Authorities began investigating the children's disappearance after Vallow's biological grandmother, Kay Woodcock, asked police to conduct a welfare check in November. The Daybell's were located in Hawaii with in January.

The Daybell's are both connected to cult rumors and the mysterious deaths, including the death of Lori's late husband, Charles Vallow, and Chad's late wife, Tammy Daybell. The couple is currently under investigation by the Idaho Attorney General for Tammy's death.

Tammy Daybell died suddenly in October 2019 at her Salem home, just two weeks before Lori and Chad Daybell married in Hawaii. Investigators have called the death suspicious, and her body was exhumed from the Springville Evergreen Cemetery in Utah in December. Detectives are still awaiting autopsy and toxicology reports, Fremont County Sheriff Len Humphries told East Idaho News.

Anyone with information regarding the children's whereabouts is asked to contact the Rexburg Police Department at 208-359-3008.
