Science Shows

Our captivating science shows feature impressive large-scale demonstrations and plenty of audience participation. Whether showcasing phase changes or the wonders of electricity, these presentations are designed to wow students. These shows are perfect for groups of up to 300 students in grades K–8.

Science Festivals

Bring dynamic science and engineering experiences to your school or community. Students and adults engage in hands-on exploration, collaboration, and problem-solving with a variety of tabletop exhibits, sparking excitement and a love for science learning. These festivals are ideal for open houses, family nights, and community events, accommodating groups of 40–150 participants, from grades TK–12.

STEM Workshops

From circuits to slime our workshops spark curiosity and deepen understanding of science and engineering through hands-on activities and explorations. Students engage in fun, interactive experiences that build core skills and encourage critical thinking. Tailored for groups of up to 32 students, they are ideal for grades PreK-8.

Questions

How far in advance do I need to make my reservation?

Programs must be booked and paid at least 6 weeks in advance. For best availability, book as soon as possible.

When is payment due?

Programs must be paid within 30 days after booking or 6 weeks in advance of the program (whichever comes first).

What is the cancellation/refund policy?

You may cancel your program up to 6 weeks in advance of the delivery date with no penalty. For cancellations made less than 6 weeks in advance, no refunds will be issued.

Do your programs require volunteers?

Our festivals require 10-12 adult volunteers to help manage the stations and engage the students. The specific number of volunteers needed is listed with each program description. 

Do you offer any discounts?

We offer a 30% reduced rate for Title 1 schools for festivals, science shows and workshops.

What if my district uses their own service agreement?

If your district or site requires The Lawrence to your service agreement paperwork or make changes to our agreement, a $200 administrative fee will be charged. This fee will help offset the resources needed to execute these agreements. Use of a District/Site agreement or changes to The Lawrence agreement can take 8-12 weeks to process.

Are travel fees included in the program price?

For programs within 80 miles, travel fees are included. A $320 travel fee applies for distances over 80 miles.
