About us

The Honolulu Board of Water Supply (BWS) provides safe, dependable and affordable water now and into the future for the island of Oahu, Hawaii. We are working hard to preserve and protect our most essential resource – our water. A semi-autonomous agency of the City and County of Honolulu, BWS manages Oahu’s municipal water resources and distribution system. As the largest water utility in the state, we serve approximately one Oahu million customers.
