As reported by journalist Alan Nixon, Bolton Wanderers look set to snap up young Irish international striker, Conor Carty.

The 20 year old, capped at U18 level for the Republic of Ireland, has just been released by Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The youngster never played a first team game for Wolves, though did play 35 games for the U23s, scoring four goals.

You’d assume that he’ll be a B Team signing, who may make the step up should he progress under the stewardship of Matt Craddock and Andy Tutte.

There’s going to be plenty of players signed solely for the B team in the coming weeks & hopefully several of those could prove to be future first team material.
