About
I am a historian, a cultural practitioner, a writer and an emerging curator. I am interested in socio-cultural and socio-political issues and the history of Africa and the diaspora. My current research interests are in Black photographic archives and legacies. I write about archives, African modernity, heritage, postcoloniality and decolonization in the context of African museums, universities and other cultural institutions. I am also involved in provenance research of southern African objects held in Western museums.
I have extensive freelance experience which I engage in under my agency name Senoelo Ink Language Services. My portfolio in this respect encompasses research, scriptwriting, editing, and English-Lesotho translating for a variety of projects and clients
