Since launching the world’s first bank-backed, European regulated stablecoin ‘EURI’ last month, we’ve been thrilled by the interest throughout the industry. Both inside Europe and throughout the globe, there’s clearly been a hunger for new stablecoin options, especially one that is aligned with the new Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) that creates uniform EU market rules for crypto-assets. This marks a significant step in stablecoin development and will help our customers transact across borders in a way that was previously not possible. As announced in June, Banking Circle have been working with XTransfer, a leading B2B cross-border payment platform from China. Banking Circle’s infrastructure supports XTransfer with fund collection options in USD, GBP, EURO and other currencies in Europe and the Middle East. This development is particularly advantageous for businesses dealing with Chinese suppliers. Buyers in Europe and the Middle East will have the convenience of paying Chinese suppliers in a wider range of local currencies. More currencies will be supported soon.
