We are filled with pride and joy for the recently held Alfrēds Krauklis Memorial Basketball Tournament for children. This event was truly remarkable in its scope and impact. Just a few facts highlight the scale of this tournament: 🔸Over 3,000 young basketball enthusiasts participated, including both boys and girls aged 9 to 17. 🔸Across three days in Riga, a total of 531 games were played on 23 courts. 🔸The tournament featured 207 teams from seven countries, including Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Ukraine, and a united EU team. 🔸This is the largest children’s and youth basketball tournament in the Baltics. Supporting events like this isn’t just about sports. It’s about giving kids a chance to learn teamwork, perseverance, and discipline. Balticovo uses the most modern methods to maintain consistently high-quality eggs and egg products, ensuring the safety of eggs as a food product and ensuring that the highest environmental standards are met in egg production. 🥚The quality of liquid eggs and the structure of the egg whites and yolks are analyzed using computer vision solutions. This quality system allows for instant adjustments to production to prevent potential quality issues. 🥚As a result, Balticovo has obtained the international BRC quality system "A+" certification for shell eggs, liquid eggs, and boiled egg products, guaranteeing the highest food quality and safety. 🥚We protect food from going to waste with a diverse range of products. From cracked or non-standard-size eggs, we produce liquid eggs, dried egg products, and pre-cooked eggs. 🥚Eggs not meeting the high EU food standards are used to make animal feed. 🥚We use packaging made from recycled cardboard and plastic. 🥚Liquid egg products (egg mass, egg whites, yolks) are packaged in TetraPak cartons made from sustainably sourced wood, as evidenced by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification. 🥚The plastic coating and cap of the packaging are made from plants, not petroleum products, which reduces CO2 emissions in the packaging production process. These efforts reflect Balticovo's commitment not only to delivering top-quality products but also to embracing sustainability and minimizing environmental impact.
