There is no dance floor, unless they always designate an area for dancing after I've left.

I really enjoy this place! I've heard about it many times and decided to go for a co-worker's going away shindig. I was nicely surprised at the atmosphere, a mixture of couples, families and groups of friends, all vibing with one another, relaxing from the long week. The drinks and food came out in a timely fashion and my beers were always cold.
I returned a few weeks later and stumbled across a craft fair, which was cool. The vendors were gracious and, the food I had from the ones I tried was on point. This is a chill spot to catch a drink after work. You can sit at one of the many table and chair setups, or you can find a spot in the grass and feel your feet touching the earth. Either way, you won't be disappointed.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 538115Aug 24, 20241 check-in
We went for the 36th anni. The drinks are reasonably priced, tasty, and satisfy different tastes. I loved seeing so many different people families young and...not so young. Babies, dogs, and gorgeous weather. Pizza, grilled peppers, all tasty.
Would recommend for kids, families, dog owners, singles. So fun.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aug 2, 2024
Very cool spot! Definitely a place you would want to come hang out with friends over the summer. It is super family and dog friendly. I like the variety of age groups too! So definitely enjoyable by the whole family even grandparents!
We came over the weekend and there was a dj and a local fair I think (not sure if thats always available during weekends).
Beer selection is good! I had both an IPA and Cider. They had run out of the micheladas (bummer) but I'll try them next time. Parking is available nearby through the "ParkMobile" app - very easy to use.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jul 23, 2024
Had a girl's night and we all got the chance to visit Drake's for the very first time! We were all excited, as we've heard so much about this spot.
Upon arrival, parking was pretty scary. We took about ten minutes to find street parking. There are lots of housing complexes around the location so I think that was a part of the parking issue as well. We opted for the public parking lot and luckily it was two hours free that day! We had a three minute walk from there, so not bad at all.
We were IDed at the entrance, BUT this spot is definitely kid-friendly. They ID so they can give you a 21+ wristband. There is first-come first-serve open seating, but they do accept reservations as well. We went on a Wednesday night, and found out they were showing Hercules as an outdoor movie night. I think that deterred most of the crowd from the tables and onto the lawn area, so we had lots of seating options.
This spot is incredibly adorable. There are string lights everywhere, firepits, greenery, and a bit of a view own Old Sac and the river. They have so much beer on-tap, so this spot is great for the beer-lovers. They also had some specialty cocktails for the movie night theme, which is what I ordered. The cocktail was super good and not too strong! We also ordered pizza at the bar and it was ready in about 15 minutes for pick-up. The pizza was slightly under-cooked and chewy which was disappointing, but my friend really enjoyed hers.
Overall, it was a super fun experience and I look forward to going back.Helpful 6Thanks 3Love this 5Oh no 0 - 2615141225Jun 27, 2024
Very cool place. Great place to hang out with, especially if you want a chill place for a big group.
Recently went for a retirement party and had about 6 tables for us. Great vibe, perfect when the weather is nice out. They have color sprinklers on when it does get a little spicy out.
Ordering food is all through your phone. They were super fast with service. We were impressed. One of our faves was the blueberry pizza.
Parking can be a bit hard, especially if there is a game near by. No parking lot on premises, just street parking.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Aug 11, 20241 check-in
We wanted to meet friends at a new place in Sacramento that was family friendly and my sister in law recommended us to go here. For a weekend at 4pm there was plenty of spaces to sit. It has a very chill relaxed vibe with a wide variety of drinks to choose from. My kids had a blast sitting under the misters and playing with their toys in the sand. The food is also good for the price. If you looking for a place to bring your kids and have some adult time this is the place!

Drake's is a great place to visit if you're looking for a fun food/drink spot and it's perfect weather outside!
I came on a Thursday night with some old coworkers and it was perfect, since it was Trivia Night!
This was my first time at Drake's, and I loved the outdoor vibes! I ordered the Margherita pizza as well as a pineapple mojito. The pizza was great and the crust didn't get soggy at all. It had a little too much tomato sauce for my liking, but still delicious pizza! The drink could have been better, but still had the taste of a classic mojito.
Service overall was good considering the large crowd for Trivia Night!
For parking, there's a good amount of street parking. Sometimes you can snag free 2 hour parking, otherwise, I parked for 2 hours, and it was about $4!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aug 30, 2024
I had a birthday celebration here and had a good time. Made a reservation late July for the wing but ended up in the lawn area which was even better because we got a fire pit, drinks were great. Night was a little blurry but a very chill open space brewery that I would return to.

Definitely recommend to come here on the weekends if you are looking for something to do. They play good music and the food is pretty good as well. My only complaint is that the line to get a drink at the bar was so long but it's understandable since it is the weekend. Other than that everything was great!

This place is super cute! However, it can be insanely busy. If you don't make a reservation it can be hard to enjoy the space. The new cocktail bars is super cute and the drinks were great, but it took a long time to get them. Going forward if I plan to come, I will make a reservation.
FYI!!! I made a reservation for their s'mores fire pit a couple months ago. PAID a reservation fee and unfortunately that day was pouring rain and so I called for DAYS to try to reschedule and/or get my money back and I heard nothing back. So I am a little jaded, but this place has a great atmosphere.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1
