Duane Reade

They've got just enough in this small space to truly be convenient. It's your average Duane Reade really designed for you to pick up some easy snacks your office hiding place (or maybe that's just what the fat kid in me reverts back to). They've got you covered with all the energy drinks to propel you through your workday. They've also got all the sugary and salty snacks to make your day that much more rewarding. No pharmacy. No photoshop.

We stopped by here before going to Jersey City for some snacks. The tiny DR outpost has a strange layout and it took awhile to find a few things. They have basic items but, I felt that the pricing was a bit more expensive than neighboring drugstores. There was only one cashier on staff and there wasn't any lines. However, the shop can get crowded very quickly.

A little Duane Reade that stretches under stairs and around a column, packed with the basics and snacks that you may be craving for - pricing is pretty similar to outside stores and they have Turkey Hill ice tea, chips galore. While it took a while to find the snacks I wanted (organization suffers due to the odd shape), at least I found it at the end.

A fairly nice and modern location od Duane Reade in the Oculus which makes up Westfield World Trade Centre, while the store might not be as large as other Duane Reade locations, it still had a satisfactory selection of most items, while the store also had a nice new, modern feel to it too.

Being a small store, it can be a little cramped at certain areas which ruins the overall feel which is a shame and it also doesn't have a pharmacy like most of their locations do.

Surprisingly, they also managed to fit in a decent-sized make-up selection but I do think this space could have been utilised better with more typical items you'd expect from a convenience store or perhaps some basic pharmacy style medicines.

Everyone there is absolutely pleasant. I was offered help on the floor and the cashier was helpful and kind as well. Even on a day where people would prefer to be at the beach or a bbq they all seemed ready to work and be super helpful. I think this will be a branch I will return to regularly on my commute.
