Go HERE for outstanding vegan food!!!
1. Great service. Server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. She provided great recommendations which led to me eating some pesto gnocchi.
2. The pesto gnocchi with "chicken" added. This. Was. PHENOMENAL. I hadn't enjoyed a vegan meal like this in a long time. The chicken tasted like meat, the gnocchi was cooked well, tasty pesto, bountiful cheese, good additional chew from the pine nuts. I couldn't have asked for more from this dish, except, well, more of it!! I still think about this meal sometimes.
3. Vibes are super cute inside. Kinda gives me farmhouse pub vibes?? Idk but there's ambient lighting and a moody feel. Feels like a good place for girl dinner or date night!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 25, 2024
Thoughtful menu with solid vegan options! I like that it's not just so tofu/chickpeas.
Really friendly staff with prompt service. Outdoor seating is nice for summer.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

If you're craving a hearty vegan meal for lunch or dinner, this is the place for you. They have multiple locations around Vancouver and serve a wide selection of plant-based alternatives to all of our favorite dishes. What I liked about this place is that someone might not realize it's a vegan restaurant when they visit. Perfect place to bring your non-vegan friends, they won't know what hit them.
Not only do they have a decent lunch/dinner menu, but their drink menu is pretty nice too. We ended up sticking with some yuzu ginger soda since it was lunch. If I came here for dinner, there would be a lot of cocktails I would have liked to try... maybe next time!
I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of this place. I thought it was cool how they had a VHS TV at the front door playing old movies. While waiting for a couple of friends to show up, I got to watch "Shrek" that was playing on the TV.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I'd been reading about La Poutine Week for a few years now but hadn't gotten around to trying it. We had tried Meet on Main restaurant once and loved it, so when I read that Meet on Main was part of La Poutine Week this year I decided, "This is the year that I will finally try a La Poutine Week poutine!"
My daughter and I are poutine lovers so this was an excellent mother/daughter outing for us. Meet on Main 's offering for La Poutine Week is called "Meet Yr Maker" Poutine. It's a plant based poutine with gravy, cheez shred, mac n cheez, bac'n chunks, buffalo sauce and ranch sauce.
Usually, our daughter just orders a plain, basic poutine wherever she goes. This was the first time she'd tried a fancier poutine with toppings other than gravy and cheese curds. She loved this and so did I! It's a mound of comfort foods packed into one dish, and plant based to boot! Oh Meet on Main , "Please please please add this to your regular menu!!!"
Oh, we also ordered and shared their Nashville Hunny Glazed Mac n Cheez Donuts. Those were heavenly too. Imagine Mac n Cheese, molded into the shape of a donut and finished off with a crunchy panko crust. Also plant based. The Nashville hunny glaze gives an extra kick but honestly, we feel that the Mac n Cheez Donuts taste good already on their own. The hunny glaze is a nice option for those who like a bit of extra spice, but unnecessary for us.
Poutine lover or not, meat lover or not...Meet on Main is a "must try"!
Service: Good
Parking: Mostly paid parking on the streets but free parking can be found on some of the side streets.

Hello,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us, JM! It's really awesome that your entire family enjoyed their meals, and that we satisfied your Cronut craving! I'll make sure to share your green pea suggestion with our TeeM. We're happy to share that you can order a side of tofu with your meal next time you visit! Thanks for the review and we look forward to having the whole family back again soon :)Apr 22, 2021Previous reviewOur whole family was super impressed with this restaurant. My meat eating husband enjoyed the food; even my little girl who is also a meat eater and usually a very picky eater...she enjoyed the food too. So much that she wants to go back again sometime. We tried Sweet Chili Cauliflower, Oyster Mushroom Kalamari, Groovy Gravy Fries, Crispy BBQ Burger, a rice bowl called The Lovely, the Mac N' Cheez bowl, the salted caramel ice cream, and their Cronut. We all loved the Oyster Mushroom Kalamari. That was definitely a huge hit with all of us. Super impressed with the Tzatziki dip, and the even without the dip, the "kalamari" was really yummy. My little girl usually dislikes mushrooms, so to be able to prepare a mushroom dish in a way that actually appeals to her is a very impressive feat. This was our first time eating a Vegan mac and cheese. My husband generally has a huge aversion to cheese. He scrunches up his face in disgust when he smells me cooking regular Mac and cheese at home. He tried the Mac N' Cheez bowl at Meet on Main though, and was actually OK with it. My daughter liked it too. Only thing that would have made it better for her would have been if they'd included some green peas in her bowl. I always make it with green peas at home. She loves her mac and cheese with green peas. Meet on Main, if you're reading this...please add a green peas option to your menu! Also, she loved the pieces of tofu in my "The Lovely" bowl. (I loved them too!) So to the people of Meet on Main restaurant, once again, if you're reading this...we'd love to see those same pieces of tofu on the menu as a separate item. Perhaps as an appetizer, or a side dish. The Cronut...oh wow! So heavenly! Pure bliss! We were supposed to take a trip to NYC last year and ended up cancelling at the last minute when we heard that a State of Emergency had been declared over there as a result of Covid-19. As the Cronut was invented in NYC, I'd really been hoping to try one and was disappointed when we had to cancel our trip. The Cronut at Meet on Main however, is soooooo good that even if I ever make it NYC, I really don't feel like I need to try it there anymore. I'm more than happy to just eat the Cronut at Meet on Main! Super duper ultra impressed with this restaurant. I hope they continue to open more branches. I'd love to see one in Burnaby. A branch on the North Shore would be nice as well. Meet on Main just became my new favourite restaurant!

Spontaneously came in with a friend on a weeknight. Busy, but no wait for a table. Friendly service. Enjoyed a glass of Hoochy Booch kombucha on tap and a Mediterranean burger. I can appreciate that fries and salad are both included with the burger, but the fries did were a little greasy and did nothing for me. To be fair, I'm not a fries person, but I can occasionally be convinced by really good fries. The burger was great though, and the patty was hefty and filling. I was happy with the price I paid ($25, including the drink) for a very filling meal.
I noticed the decor more than I did the last time I was here. Its eclectic and I can see where there are spots in the design that can come across as "crowded", but I like this style, I think it's fun and interesting.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, Dana! We're so pleased to have hosted you for your first MeeT dine-in visit. Love to hear that the rest of your party had a great time too! We hope to have you back again soon to try something new.
Feb 17, 2021Previous reviewI've ordered takeout from the Yaletown location but this was my first time dining in at a MeeT and I was pretty impressed! The menu has great variety - no matter what type of cuisine you might be craving, there's something for you. Apparently they're most known for their burgers but I really enjoyed the bowl I had here and from their Yaletown location. I had the Butter Chikkin and absolutely loved the "chicken", the texture was very satisfying and it delivered the savoury flavour of chicken without being too meaty. The curry sauce was also complex in taste and just spicy enough. They serve it with a side salsa salad which I thought was kind of a surprising pairing with the butter chicken, but it was really good regardless. Everyone in my party really enjoyed their food and portion sizes were good all around.
This is the first restaurant I've visited that does temperature checks for customers and from how simple it was I'm surprised more places aren't doing it. The staff were all very friendly and despite being busy they were efficient and just attentive enough. - Flora Y.Aiea, HI25225Apr 5, 2024
So so good. Ordered the crispy chicken burger and ohh my goodness!! Teem poutine was AMAZING! The topper was the house made orange cream soda! Best thing I have ever drank IN MY LIFE...like seriously IN MY LIFE!

This was the first time to this Meet location. Staff was friendly, no pretentious vibes here. It is very nice to go places where they don't make your partner or yourself feel bad for not ordering more things or drinks in my case!
Lemon Tart - DELICIOUS! Looks more like a Cake Slice to me but the taste more than makes up for any qualms about the naming of this tasty morsel. I'm not usually a big fan of coconut anything but this coconut crust has made me a fan. Lemon game was the right profile of slightly tart but sweet. Overall a great ending to a light meal.
Steak Tostada- Had a bit of a saltier taste profile but but the sour cream taste was quite nice. Steak curls were just a tad too salty for me. I wouldn't let these stay on the table too long next time as the shell can get a doggy from the liquid and moisture. Is the curl itself actually meat? I'm not sure to be honest. I couldn't really tell. All things considered, I don't usually look for a curl of a steak.
Beet Salad - large & feeling. Would have preferred more beets but did it's job and filled up our tummy
Oyster Mushroom Calamari- Probably my least favorite. I'm not sure I prefer mushrooms fried. Worth a gamble.
Nice space to go to enjoy some eats.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I have yet to visit MeeT on Main with a guest who has not left amazed with the "kalamari" or whatever seasonal cocktail is on the menu that month! I could eat here almost every day. Very friendly staff, great ambience, solid serving sizes and value for great vegan food.

Delicious vegan food, awesome vibe, and super friendly staff! I had the Thanksgiving special. There were 2 imitation turkey patties on a fluffy vegan brioche bun with lemon aioli and orange-date jam. I'm not sure if they bake their own bread or where they get it, because I've never had such a perfect vegan brioche! This all came with a side of "stuffing fries" dressed with stuffing, fried brussels sprouts, and more lemon aioli. It was a huge, filling portion for under $20. They make all their own sodas. I had the orange soda which was delicious, fresh, and not too sweet. The cocktails looked really great too! I would definitely come here again if I lived in Vancouver!!

This was the first of our vegan restaurants tour of Main Street. We had the sweet chili cauliflower for appetizer. For the main course, we had the Mighty Mac Burger and Crispy Chickun Burger. Best of the bunch was the sweet chili cauliflower, crispy and sweet. It hits all the right spots. The Mighty Mac Burger was also very good. The Crispy Chickun Burger was okay, crispy but nothing really stood out. I really like that you get half salad and half fries with your order, the best of both worlds.
