Red Hawk Resort + Casino

This casino is literally off the freeway.
Free valet parking
Free soda station (definitely a good perks)
Free deck of cards for first time guests signing up for players cards.
The Apex is a great future to have for kids and adults, go kart racing, bowling, golf simulator and arcade.
The casino itself is not that smoky.

Go to the restaurant and have lunch . There was a lot to choose from . The food was terrible it just really didn't
Enlighten our day at all . Never eat there again. Oh and
The so called waitress just looked over at our table never
Come over and ask if we needed anything. All in all the place is terrible .

Betty the host alone made this stay and play 5 stars. Just her alone made it 5. One of the floor managers rubbed the wrong way. Like killed my vibe big time. I let him know respectfully, and after he was awesome. Most of the dealers were awesome too. I played for about 10 hours straight and the next day for about 8.

Had a great time! Will be back next month.

Okay, red hawk gets updated to a 5!
No I didn't win a jackpot. Casino wise, it is a lot like every other casino, again the beverage stations and bathrooms everywhere are fantastic! As are the free gifts I keep getting on the weekends without gambling.
The extra star is for the hotel!
Mom scored her free night and used it.
I went the day before to make myself feel better as she was going to be alone.
Mom has mobility issues and I worry about her traveling alone.
The valet service and all of the customer service were top notch. Mom didn't have to park or carry luggage or anything. She said she felt like royalty.
5 stars for keeping mom safe and making her feel comfortable and important!

My son's in-laws invited us to a weekend at Red Hawk Casino, and I have to say it felt very new, rustic, and clean; they had the most modern, almost fancy, area for kids and adults alike to play/drive race cars, and it looked like it was at least three stories high with a circular track. They had all kinds of video games and even small carnival rides. There was virtual golf, which the host of the party and two friends played, and they had a blast. And we went bowling in a VIP private area. We ordered pizzas and chips and french fries. It was decent. The kids were having a blast bowling and eating, plus they had TVs in there to watch, (kids were watched by grandma and grandpa) so everybody was very pleased. Our room was nice and clean and had all the amenities again. It feels very new, but I heard they had just remodeled, and I must say everything looked beautiful.. they have a swimming pool outdoors. It's not very big, but it cared for all the adults, and the kids had a blast! It was 108° that day. OMG hottttt
There were a couple of restaurants and a coffee shop there. Unfortunately, the food was not very good. It was the only real detractor to our otherwise crazy, fun time here.
I would come back. I hope they work on the food situation. It needs some real improvement there, but otherwise, we had an absolute blast. Cheers to all SYOY

Our experience at Red Hawk Resort + Casino was overall very good. One of the standout positives was the complimentary valet service, which made our arrival smooth and convenient.

The check-in process was easy and the staff, particularly a friendly lady whose name unfortunately slipped my mind (possibly Posha?), was helpful despite my fumbling attempts at remembering names!

The only downside was the pool area, which felt small given the size of the resort. The pool itself was only 3 feet deep, more suited for lounging than swimming, and surprisingly lacked a nearby bar for poolside drinks. Having to trek halfway to the casino for refreshments was a bit of a buzzkill.

On the upside, our room was excellent. Clearly brand new, with a nice shower, well-appointed bathroom amenities including a vanity mirror and complimentary makeup remover, and plenty of unused drawer space. The mini refrigerator was a handy touch.

As for the casino, it's heavily weighted towards slot machines with just a small section for card tables. While the slot machines were fun, they did eat up our money quicker than expected. Shoutout to Ronald, our entertaining blackjack dealer, who made our table game experience memorable, even if he ended up taking our money too--what can you do but laugh?

Check-out and valet were as easy as arrival, and the fact that valet parking was complimentary was a pleasant surprise.

In summary, Red Hawk Resort + Casino is a great spot overall, but they really need to address the lack of a poolside bar and consider expanding their pool facilities. If you don't mind a short walk for drinks, everything else about the place is top-notch! The staff were friendly and made our stay enjoyable. Thank you, thank you. No

Went to the Asian restaurant whose name I can't remember. Tried to order the drink specials that were on the menu but was told there'd be a wait as they had to walk upstairs as there's no bar on this floor.... Ok easy way to lose money there as we went with water instead. Moving on to the food I had ordered the Mongolian beef and after nearly finishing I noticed what I thought was a pepper skin on my plate... nope. There was a shrimp tail mixed in my food. Now i remind you this dish should have contained zero shrimp. After confronting our waiter he went to get his manager who could not be found (or just didn't care). In the waiters defense he did comp the dish but this definitely turned me off from ever returning to both the restaurant and red hawk as a whole.

Lawrence Taylor, my executive host, was friendly and provided excellent customer service. Communication with him is always easy and his response is rapid. I appreciate him for setting a good tone on what I would get from Red Hawk.
Valet parking for the hotel is separate from the casino's main valet parking. This moves things along quicker than most casinos resort I've visited. From valet to front desk - the hotel check in and check out process is smooth and stress free. The room was clean and even the lobby is beautiful aesthetically decorated. The bed and pillows are very comfortable and you can't beat the view from my room. Highly recommended for those looking for a resort stay in the area or just want to get out of Sacramento. I didn't take advantage of the pool, gym or hot tub, but I will next time.

This place is a family favorite! I love that they have an area for the kids to be entertained while the adults are having their own fun! I always tell people I never win, but then I went to red hawk and won $10k on the slots! Fun environment, clean atmosphere, and the staff is attentive and so friendly! I will be back!
