Silicon Valley Demolition

These guys did a great job.
The job consisted of removing about 600 square feet (and about 6 inches thick) of concrete from my back yard.
They removed the concrete.
They cleaned up after themselves.
They stuck to their estimate, and the price was very reasonable.
Very professional and pleasant.
I would hire them again for any demolition needs.

SV Demo is run by two Scotts, Scott H and Scott R. Both of them are really easy to work with which was important to me because I'm a small time guy with exactly zero experience in demo/construction and I had a huge headache of a project in dealing with my Dad's house which was completely run down and needed to be demo'd. Both of the Scotts were very patient with me in the numerous phone calls and personal meeting I had with them.

In the middle of the project, a tree that was in the middle of the property fell, and another tree was threatening to fall and crush one of the neighbors' property which would have cost millions of $$ in damages. Both Scotts were on the property the next day to help get the tree down safely.

In my experience, it's rare that any big contracting job will go exactly according to plan, but they were flexible, responsible, and professional to work with me for an outcome that was mutually beneficial and we're both happy.

Would recommend to other small time guys like me.

This is just a review for the phone call I made and the quote that I got. I didnt use their services since my husband found a different way to deal with the dirt.

I called up and explained what I needed to have hauled away. I got an estimate and to get a more accurate estimate (without him having to come over) I emailed a picture. He immediately called me back with the quote. His prices were way lower than another company I called and better yet they were able to take it away that same day. Next time I have dirt to be hauled I will definitely give them a call.

As good as it gets! We had a large pile of remodeling debris and just plain old junk. We called S&R to see if they could take it same day. Sure enough, they were there within 2 hours of our call and had the huge mess completely cleaned up in about 30 minutes! We have used places like GOT JUNK before and were amazed how good S&R prices were. Hands down, we will use them repeatedly as we slowly remodel our house. These guys are FANTASTIC, and you can't get better pricing. Their services aren't limited to junk hauling either as they should be getting their contractor's lic soon, so we are having them quote on our backyard deck framing and pilings! Can't say enough good things about them, VERY nice people, and very professional!

UPDATE 1/2012: Have Used Scott probably 4 times since for my home as well as debris from 2 other places i have helped remodel. . . . ALWAYS AWESOME!!

UPDATE 3/2013: Still awesome!!!!

I first heard about this company a few years back from a Broker I worked with. Fast forward, I needed my kitchen and family room demolitioned. I also needed a spa removed.

I called a couple of places and decided to go with this company because Scott seemed like a cool guy to work with. He is upbeat, responds to inquiries ASAP. You know someone is going to be excellent at their work if they love doing it. He is honestly like a walking Prozac.

Anyways, Scott responded in a timely manner and gave a reasonable quote. I scheduled for demolition and things went great.

Aaron and his crew came, did what they needed to do, cleaned up and left. Wow, what a wonderful experience. They were all so respectful and happy. None of the downer types you'd experience working with in real estate or construction. And as a Broker I've met all sort of types.

This company rocks so much I will be recommending them to my brokers and realtors. Honest, on time, professional. Love em!

I will be calling them back for more demolition.

SV Hauling and Demo did an awesome job demolishing my wood shed in my backyard about 2 months ago. I got the chance to meet nearly every employee that worked at my house and each one was respectful and hard working. Aaron, was the foreman's name I believe; he was very polite. He explained the whole process to me. (I usually have a lot of questions too)
About a week ago they demolished my old deck and hauled it away, mess free. The rate that Scott Righetti decided on was very reasonable. I was very satisfied with the job and customer service that I received.

This company surely reserve the Woohoo! As good as it gets! rating. I called Scott to quote demoing our garage and hauling old furnitures and old shed that contains enormous pile of garbage. He was on time, professional and took time to listen and tried to understand our needs. For the amount of garbage he had to hauled out, the price was excellent. Special mention to his crew (sorry I forgot their names) who came 10 minutes early and very nice young guys. They kept everything clean and ensure we're happy before they left.

What a great company! Scott answered my call, and listen to my needs. I then emailed him photos of the job that night, next morning he called with a great price.

I am a landscape contractor out of San Diego area, working in Northern California.

Job included filling in a 6 x 6 x 5 foot hole with dirt and hauling away palm waste, which we extracted a big tree out. He went and bought the dirt and handled the job.

He said he would have one of his crews out there to get it done, time was an essence, since I am 500 miles away and sent me after photos and then I deposited monies into his account, what a simple, smooth transaction, did not have to leave town
