Excited to share, Raymond Rufino! We truly value having such impactful #familybusiness leaders in our community!
Thank you The Business Manual for featuring me and my father Carlos “Charlie” Rufino on your cover!! We had a great time doing the joint interview with RJ Ledesma and joint photo shoot around our NEO Office PH buildings in BGC. “With their combined decades’ worth of experience in real estate, we gain insight on the Rufinos’ hand in the invention of BGC, the creation of a sustainable model for real estate development, and their entrepreneurial spirit–all with the thread of stewardship running through it without fanfare but with a profound impact on NEO’s stakeholders and tenants, the real estate industry, and the country.” - Vincent Sales, The Business Manual

When Prestige magazine asked me to define a "woman of power," I didn't miss a beat. A woman of power isn't defined by corner offices or designer labels. It's her skills, her pursuit of mastery in her chosen field, that truly sets her apart. Whether she's a business leader, a tech innovator, a culinary maestro, a compassionate caregiver, or a healthcare hero, she's dedicated to honing her craft. And that's what makes her – or anyone, really – truly powerful. It's that constant desire to learn and grow, to become the best version of themselves. That's the kind of unstoppable force that can change the world. Did you work on your skills today? 😎 #skills #lifelonglearning

Two weeks ago, I had the privilege of attending the YPO The Program on Negotiation and Leadership at Harvard Law School, a program founded by Professor Daniel L. Shapiro, a transformative gathering that not only honed my negotiation and leadership skills but also deepened my connections within the YPO community. Engaging with thought leaders and peers from across the globe, I embraced an invaluable opportunity for growth, taught by the renown professors from Harvard Law School, Harvard Kennedy School, and Harvard Business School. This program, brilliantly put together by Ricardo De La Fuente and Neama Rahmani, brought together 80+ leaders from six continents and over 30 industries, all united by a quest to master the art of negotiation in all walks of life. A heartfelt thank you to both for creating such a compelling and enriching experience. Our days were packed with lessons from some of the world's top professors, such as Guhan Subramanian, who laid the groundwork in negotiation fundamentals, and Kessely Hong, who navigated us through the intricate balance of creating and claiming value in negotiations. The highlight for many of us was hearing from former Ecuadorian President Jamil Mahuad, who shared riveting insights from his negotiations during the peace treaty with Peru. His story is a testament to the power of diplomacy, leadership and inner strength. The connections forged here were profound. I am particularly inspired by the incredible women of YPO with whom I shared this journey. The bonds we formed, rooted in shared learning and mutual respect, are a treasure I carry forward. This program reinforced my belief in continuous learning as a cornerstone of effective leadership. The frameworks and tools we explored, from Prof Daniel L. Shapiro's emotional negotiations techniques, Debbie Goldstein's strategies on dealing with difficult situations, and Rob Wilkinson's case studies and techniques on complex negotiations are already proving instrumental as I apply them within my professional and personal capacities. As I continue to navigate my career and life, the insights gained here will undoubtedly influence my approach to negotiation and leadership. I’m reminded of President Mahuad’s advice – to remain authentic. It’s not merely about playing a role but embodying the essence of who we are to become our truest selves. To anyone in leadership wrestling with their negotiation challenges, remember: it's not just about the deals you make, but about the relationships you nurture and the personal growth you foster along the way. #Leadership #Negotiation #ContinuousLearning #YPO #Harvard #Empowerment #GrowthMindset
