George RR Martin calls out 'Games of Thrones' and 'House of the Dragon' makers for this reason

A Song of Ice and Fire author George RR Martin is unhappy with Games of Thrones and House of the Dragon. Why so? He recently published a blog, talking about his love for dragons, and slammed GOT and HOTD for messing up the Targaryen Sigil.
A sigil is one of the most important and recognizable aspects of a House to showcase its standing. From the wolf of the starks to the dragon of the Targaryens, the sigils spoke for the house.
In his blog, George stated that he designed the sigil to be realistic, and thus the dragons have two legs and 'not four, never four'. GOT gave us the correct two-legged sigils for the first four seasons, but when Daenerys Targaryen's (played by Emily Clarke) fleet comes into view, all the sails show four-legged dragons.
"Someone got sloppy, I guess. Or someone opened a book on heraldry and read just enough of it to muck it all up. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing," said George.
George further went on to add that GOT's popularity led the way to create new covers for the books with the wrong Targaryen sigil on his work, and the same thing happened with HOTD.
Pointing out the wrong Targaryen sigil used in HOTD, George said, "They went with the bad sigil rather than the good one. That sound you heard was me screaming, 'no, no, no'. Those damned extra legs have even wormed their way onto the covers of my books, over my strenuous objections."
On the other hand, House of the Dragon season 2 episode 4 was released a few days ago and it received an amazing response. The episode featured the death of Rhaenys Targaryen, also known as the Queen Who Never Was. Apart from that, King Aegon was badly burned and injured.
The new episode of House of the Dragon season 2 will be out on Monday on JioCinema.
