HUMIDITY...

.Very dry fuels combined with strong and gusty easterly winds and
low humidities below 45 percent will produce critical fire weather

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM THIS MORNING TO 6 AM HST
WEDNESDAY FOR GUSTY WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY...

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect through 6 AM HST Wednesday. 

* AFFECTED AREA...Leeward portions of all Hawaiian Islands.

* WIND...East winds 30 to 45 mph with gusts over 65 mph expected.

* HUMIDITY...40 to 45 percent during afternoons and evenings.

* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. 
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now or will shortly. A combination of strong
winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior. A Red Flag Warning does not
predict new fire starts.
