Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were spotted sharing an awkward air kiss as split rumours intensify.
The couple, who wed in 2022, have been subject to intense scrutiny in recent weeks with fans speculating their marriage may have ended – with J-Lo cancelling her entire tour adding fuel to the flames.
The Hustlers star, 54, and Gone Girl actor, 51, were spotted arriving separately at a YMCA in Santa Monica to cheer on Ben’s son Samuel, 12, at a basketball game.
They met outside the venue, sharing an awkward air kiss, with Ben appearing to pat his wife on the back.
The couple appeared in good spirits as they made their way into the venue, accompanied by Ben’s mother Christopher Anne.
Ben’s ex-wife Jennifer Garner – with who he shares Samuel as well as daughters Violet, 18, as well as Seraphina, 15 – was also present at the game.
It comes amid rumours that the pair are heading toward divorce, with an insider claiming Ben felt ‘temporarily insane’ during his marriage.
‘If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity, he would,’ an insider claimed to Page Six.
‘He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he’s come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work.’
On The Floor hitmaker J-Lo was due to start her This Is Me… Now tour in Orlando at the end of June, before jetting to Miami, LA, Detroit and Las Vegas.
However, the singer has since axed the entire tour, penning a message to fans saying she is ‘heartsick’ over the announcement.
‘I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down,’ she said.
‘Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again.
‘I love you all so much. Until next time…’
Neither Ben nor J-Lo have publicly addressed the rumours, but they have both been spotted on solo outings wearing their wedding rings.
Jennifer appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last month and briefly mentioned her husband, but didn’t address the split rumours.
Unpacking her first meeting with Barbra Streisand, she told the host: ‘She was asking me to look at my engagement ring, at the time, that Ben had given me years ago.’
The couple first dated in the early 2000s and announced their engagement shortly after, but eventually went their separate ways in 2004 – before rekindling things in 2021.
They went on to tie the knot in Las Vegas in July 2022, before celebrating with their family the following month.
