Netflix viewers are binning off their summer plans to devour ‘must-watch’ thriller A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder.

The six-parter follows Pippa Fitz-Amobi (Emma Myers) as she investigates the murder-suicide of fellow schoolgirl Andie Bell (India Lillie Davies) five years after her death.

A court ruled that Andie’s boyfriend Sal Singh (Rahul Pattni) murdered her before killing himself – but Pippa is certain of his innocence and sets out to exonerate him, believing the real killer is still at large.

The nailing-biting mystery first aired on the BBC but is also available to stream on Netflix – with viewers on Rotten Tomatoes planning to watch the series ‘six times’ because it’s ‘perfect’.

Account Chicken F raved: ‘This lived up to, if not, surpassed my expectations. It hasn’t even been out for a week and I’ve already watched the series through six times. I highly recommend this series, it is the perfect Mystery/Thriller to watch if you’ve got a spare weekend.’

Echoing their sentiment, Sayan C enthused: ‘The series is excellent and everything was nailed to perfection. THE has perfect suspense and thrill I would 100% recommend to binge this series.’

Alexa M also squealed: ‘I FRICKING loved this. It wasn’t the exact same as the books but personally I didn’t really mind that, it was still very interesting. THIS IS A MUST WATCH SHOW!!! Seriously. Also lots of squealing (watch till the end TRUSTTTT!).’

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is adapted from Holly Jackson’s New York Times bestselling book of the same name, with the author saying about the TV series: ‘I can’t wait to introduce Pip and Ravi to a whole new audience, and to welcome back readers who have missed our partners in crime.’

The cast also includes Motherland legend Anna Maxwell Martin, Ghosts actor Matthew Baynton, and rising star Zain Iqbal.

The murder-mystery isn’t the only raved-about show on Netflix- the second season of underrated comedy Unstable has also recently landed on the streamer.

Starring Hollywood legends Fred Armisen and Rob Lowe, Unstable follows an estranged son reunite with his grieving father to prevent him from spiralling further – by taking a job at his successful high-tech bio-research facility.

This summer, Netflix fans have also been ‘staying up all night’ to watch a hidden gem show – Mexican drama Pact of Silence – that has woefully flown under the radar for a year.

The telenova follows social media influencer Brenda (Camila Valero) as she infiltrates the lives of four women and best friends, knowing that one is her long-lost mother.

Brenda wants to exact revenge on her mother but her quest to unveil her identity is complicated by the fact the women made a pact to never reveal who gave birth to a baby daughter when they were teenagers.

On Rotten Tomatoes, ShayneO enthused: ‘From the first 10 minutes I was hooked. It’s a great storyline that I totally loved and enjoyed. I found myself up til after mind night watching another episode. Definitely will miss it once I’m done with all the episodes.’

LinZ also added: ‘I absolutely loved this series!!! It is mysterious with many twists and turns which kept me on the edge of my seat. I binge watched all 10 episodes in one day. However, several questions are still not answered. I am very hopeful the writers will create a season 2, maybe more, to keep us on our toes.’

If those don’t tickle your fancy, other highly-rated Netflix shows on Rotten Tomatoes are Supacell, Savage Beauty and The Mole – which all received a perfect 100% on the site’s review aggregator.
