Stranger Things fans are convinced that new behind-the-scenes pictures shared by Millie Bobby Brown have revealed a big spoiler for season 5.
Over the weekend, the 20-year-old actress shared some snaps from the set of the hit Netflix show, including a close-up selfie in character as Eleven.
As diehard fans of the show set about dissecting every last detail of the images, some were excitedly screaming over a seat being labelled ‘Millie Bobby Brown Bongiovi’, after the 20-year-old married her husband Jake, 22 – the son of rock legend Jon Bon Jovi – earlier this year.
However, that’s not all, as others also noticed that in the background of the photos, it appears that Eleven has returned to the infamous lab in Hawkins where she was experimented on and where she honed her powers.
‘El back at the lab in TUD [The Upside Down]……..what is she looking for 👀,’ asked Reddit user eatsleepread_l.
Another called @jchristie4 said that this theory explained why there were ‘immediately turned away’ when they tried to visit the lab during a Stranger Things tour in Atlanta last week, claiming that they were told that ‘we had to leave and no pictures or videos were allowed’.
Another Reddit user going by the handle @kauan1983 speculated from the photos that the characters might discover more at the lab about the programme codenamed ‘Indigo’, which resulted in Eleven developing her powers when her mother was experimented on.
‘There’s a whole multitude of things that should be relevant in the lab,’ they said.
‘I’m personally craving for our characters going after documents/records of Project Indigo and/or Dr. Brenner’s research into Dimension X, and going full “Dungeon Crawl” inside the UD lab fighting creatures and looking for these key items.
‘This would be an awesome way for our characters to learn about the program, specially with the Duffers straight up confirming years ago that S5 would get into how Project Indigo started and evolved.’
When Millie revealed the photo of the seat with her full name on the set of season five – including her married surname – fans of the Enola Holmes star predictably went wild.
‘MILLIE BOBBY BROWN BONJOVIIIIII,’ replied one excited follower, with another admitting: ‘”Millie Bobby Brown Bongiovi” got me.’
A third fan quipped: ‘Bobby Brown Bongiovi is the new tongue twister,’ as someone else cried ‘”bongiovi” 😭😭😭,’ and yet another fan replied: ‘Millie Bobby Brown Bongiovi sounds so powerful.’
A different fan simply replied ‘ur nameeee,’ with another follower adding: ‘Millie Bobby Brown Bongiovi 🤏🏻 so sweet ❤️’
Back in September, Millie revealed it was ‘really exciting’ planning her wedding, and she addressed the idea of tying the knot at this stage in her life.
She told Glamour: ‘It’s not because I can’t do it in 10 years; of course I can do it in 10 years, but why, when I know that it’s going to work now?
‘Just like [her beauty brand Florence by Mills] will be there in 10 years. You’ll be able to see my movie in 10 years on TV. And I know that Jake and I will be okay. It’s like, why wait? Let’s go for it.’
Elsewhere on Millie’s carousel post is the shot of her as Eleven, sporting goggles and a fake nosebleed which is a vital part of her character’s lore.
She also shared pictures of her beloved dog Winnie on set, with the cast and crew fawning over her, and a peak at some vines from the Upside Down.
Referencing the upcoming final season, set to drop in 2025, she simply wrote: ’11 in 5.’
The show debuted in 2016 and will end next year with its fifth and final series.
