Thea Booysen talks about recent accusations against MrBeast (YouTube)
A fan asked Thea Booysen to leave MrBeast after all the allegations surrounding the YouTuber (YouTube)

Thea Booysen has discussed the controversy surrounding her boyfriend and YouTuber MrBeast, as his latest video proves less popular than usual.

Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has found himself in the middle of a storm of controversy lately, as a former employee has accused the world’s biggest YouTuber of staging content and acting immorally.

Around the same time, long-time collaborator Ava Kris Tyson also left MrBeast’s channel, after she was accused of sending inappropriate messages to a minor. That’s on top of the more recent allegations against MrBeast, that he knowingly hired a registered sex offender.

The host of allegations have reached MrBeast’s girlfriend, Thea Booysen, who is a content creator herself, with one fan suggesting that she ‘please get away from the Beast as soon as you can’.

Booysen replied to the fan, who had commented on one of her recent YouTube videos, saying:

‘I appreciate the message. There is so much that is not being said, I wish I could talk more about the situation. Half the things that are said are not true, I wouldn’t be with him if they were.

‘It’s so important to me to be a good person. Hopefully things will be fixed soon, but for now I’m focusing on my studies and trying to stay away from everything.’

Booysen didn’t elaborate on what she meant by ‘half the things that are said are not true’, but if half the things MrBeast has been accused of are true that’s not good at all.

Her own comment, as well as the fan asking her to break up with MrBeast, have now been deleted, but you can see the interaction below.

MrBeast is yet to personally comment on the allegations of hiring an alleged sex offender and staging contest videos.

His has commented on the accusation against former co-host Tyson of sending inappropriate messages to a minor, when he said in a Twitter post:

‘I will allow the independent investigators the necessary time to conduct a comprehensive investigation and will take any further actions based on their findings.’

Since the allegations come forward, MrBeast has uploaded one video on his YouTube channel, which has received 2.2 million downvotes and 4.6 million upvotes.

That’s a considerably more negative ratio than his previous videos, as his fans are becoming more divided.
