Chelsea are targeting a sensational move for Manchester United star Jadon Sancho before the summer transfer window closes.

Sancho has buried the hatchet with Erik ten Hag following their high-profile falling out last season with resulted in the winger being banished from the first-team and sent out on loan to Borussia Dortmund.

While he has featured throughout pre-season, Sancho could still be sold before the end of the month.

Paris Saint-Germain have shown interest in the 24-year-old but reports in Germany now claim Chelsea are ready to enter the fray.

According to fussball.news, the Blues are prepared to offer a transfer fee plus two of their academy players.

Another proposal would see Chelsea offering to take Sancho on loan, paying his entire salary which is thought to be near £300,000-a-week. That deal would also include an obligation to buy at the end of the season.

United have in the past been linked with a move for Trevoh Chalobah, who has now been frozen out of the first-team picture at Stamford Bridge.

Sancho meanwhile was thought to be eager to join PSG if an offer is forthcoming this month.

The former Dortmund star featured throughout United’s pre-season campaign and came off the bench in last Saturday’s Community Shield clash with Manchester City – missing from 12 yards in the decisive penalty shootout.

While he is among the players United will listen to offers for as they attempt to raise further funds for incoming business, ten Hag has said they are back on good terms.

‘We spoke well,’ ten Hag said during the summer. ‘Everyone can make a mistake. If the player reflects on this well, you draw a line and move on.

‘This club needs good players, and one thing is certain: Jadon Sancho is a very good player. I hope that we will still click and that he will contribute to our success.’
