Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury announced their split after five years together this week but in an unearthed video, Molly-Mae revealed they had a ‘non-existent’ sex life.

Fans were shocked as the couple, who first met on Love Island in 2019, confirmed the end of their relationship in shock statements.

Quickly rumours began circulating that cheating played a role in the demise of their relationship, as it was reported that Tommy ‘cheated multiple times’.

It has now been unearthed that the reality TV star spoke openly about how her health had impacted her sex life with Tommy, admitting that at one point sex was just ‘not part of [their] relationship.’

In her 2022 autobiography, Becoming Molly-Mae the star wrote: ‘Before I was with Tommy, I wasn’t really having sex, so I didn’t really think there were any problems other than my period pains.’

‘I was suffering horrendous pain – literally feeling like I’d been stabbed in the stomach – just awful. And it was causing me so many issues.

‘Big TMI [too much information]! But my sex life just became non-existent: it was just not part of our relationship.’

She explained that she was struggling with endometriosis, which was affecting her sex life.

‘Tommy didn’t even used to know what to do with me, he would be looking at me like, “I don’t know what to do,”‘ she wrote.

What is Endometriosis?

Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb, grows in other places, such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes.

Symptoms highlighted by the NHS include:

  • pain in your lower tummy or back (pelvic pain) – usually worse during your period.
  • period pain that stops you doing your normal activities.
  • pain during or after sex.
  • pain when peeing or pooing during your period.
  • feeling sick, constipation, diarrhoea, or blood in your pee or poo during your period.
  • difficulty getting pregnant.

There are treatments to help manage the symptoms of endometriosis, but currently there is no cure.

This wasn’t the first time the star spoke about her sex life. In a vlog with her sister Zoe she revealed her sex drive was very high: ‘One thing I will add, when I was pregnant, my sex drive was through the roof.’

She emphasised: ‘Yeah literally like through the roof.’

‘Tommy’s wasn’t – when I was pregnant he found it a bit strange. And that’s fine, some men do,’ she confessed, to which Zoe admitted: ‘I think I probably would.’

Molly-Mae then added that Tommy didn’t feel comfortable having sex while she was pregnant: ‘Some men are really into it [sex when their partner is pregnant] or some partners will be… Tommy found it quite uncomfortable the thought that Bambi was in there and I was here. It was just a bit weird.’

‘I think low sex drives in females is a lot more common than you think, Zoe then added: ‘Obviously, speak to your partner about it…’

Molly continued: ‘I remember when I was pregnant and I wanted to have sex all the time and Tommy didn’t I was like, ‘”Oh do you not find me attractive?”

‘But I always say to Tommy if I’m not feeling it, ‘”It’s nothing to do with you it’s a me problem.”‘

In another YouTube video, Molly also said that having Bambi meant they didn’t have a lot of time together as a couple.

‘Since having Bambi, so coming up to a year now… Tommy and I haven’t had any proper time together, we have date nights and go to the cinema but I don’t really feel like that counts as proper time as a couple – like adult, intimate, nice quality time together.

‘And I feel like we haven’t done that coming up to a year now.’

Before the highly publicised split, Molly-Mae called Tommy the love of her life in a sweet final Instagram post.

Their happy public image ahead of the split has only further confused fans further as they continue to express concern about Molly-Mae, the nation’s sweetheart.
