80s Hollywood star Traci Wolfe has wowed fans with a series of selfies, 37 years after she rose to fame appearing in the Lethal Weapon movies.

Traci, 64, played the role of Rianne Murtaugh in all four films in the iconic action franchise, opposite stars Danny Glover and Mel Gibson.

As the oldest daughter of Roger Murtaugh, Rianne was introduced as a headstrong teenager with a crush on her dad’s LAPD partner.

Released in 1987, the Richard Donner-directed buddy comedy action film returned for three sequels, in which model and actress Traci also appeared.

By the fourth film, the character had grown into her own and married LAPD Detective Sergeant Butters – played by a young Chris Rock.

While Traci has largely retired from acting, she keeps fans updated via her Instagram account – and she’s still smiling all these years later.

Describing herself as an ‘actress, outdoor enthusiast, pescatarian & trash hater,’ Traci’s account brims with pictures of the grinning actress loving life in the great outdoors, sharing a series of selfies for her fans.

In the comments below her posts, fans are regularly in awe of her positive outlook and still-recognisable sense of cheer.

‘OmGODESS Traci, you are still as incredibly beautiful now today as when you first flashed that smile in the movie Lethal Weapon. If I post the year of the movie, it would only read like a lie,’ wrote blue_condition, beneath one post.

‘Still looking beautiful since lethal weapon movies,’ said erikrenlindenstrom.

‘Remember smile from Lethal Weapon,’ recalled edmcubbies_.

‘Traci, you haven’t aged a day,’ said _scuba_steve_56.

Before acting, Traci was a model, making her screen debut with Lethal Weapon. For her role in the first film, she won an NAACP Image Award for outstanding supporting actress in a motion picture that year.

While appearing in its sequels, she also popped up in two episodes of The Cosby Show, and in one episode of the 1989 TV series In The Heat of the Night.

With 1998’s Lethal Weapon 4, Traci largely retired from acting and wasn’t seen again until her performance in 2020’s Katy Keene.

Since then, she has popped up on the small screen in roles in Blue Bloods, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and the 2022 film She Said.

With Danny Glover at 78 years old and controversial co-star Mel Gibson, 68, largely diminished from the mainstream, the chances of a Lethal Weapon 5 are looking increasingly slim.

However, that hasn’t stopped fans from holding out hope, with many of the comments on Traci’s Instagram page begging for her to return to the franchise.

‘Traci I’m waiting for that Lethal Weapon 5 to drop soon, get the gang back together one last time,’ beseeched the user farm_life_mob under a recent post.

Her screen dad and his co-star might be now ‘too old for this [famous expletive]’, but Traci Wolfe still has the disposition for it.
