Leave no one behind” emphasizes the critical role of water in sustaining life on Earth. It calls attention to the need for wise water management amid challenges like rapid population growth, economic development, urbanization, and climate change, all of which threaten water availability. 💧 With only 2.5% on water globally being fresh, and agriculture accounting for 72% of global freshwater withdrawals, we know that we can, and must, make a difference. At Yara, we believe that fertigation can advance water use efficiency and protect both people and the planet from water scarcity. 🌍 Fertigation is the combined application of nutrients and water to plants.
