- Murphy who says I completely understand the concept of news fatigue, that is one of the findings in this survey... it has been done every year in the University of Canberra, in collaboration with Reuters and the Oxford University... it is a multi-country start... unfortunately we are 62 per cent of us concerned that digital environmental allows the proliferation of misinformation and fake news... there is a per centage of news consumers in Australia who are actively trying to verify facts, across referencing media reports between outlets to see that they got the facts correctly and looking for supplementary materials... I do not think the Australian Labor Party lost the election because of the tax stuff... people in Labor do not think they have lost the election because of the tax stuff, but it was the first election campaign, certainly in my professional life where there has been a proliferation of fake news of something that was not true.
