Advantage Value for Diabetes

Updated: March 31, 2024

If you have diabetes this benefit can help you save money and get the care you need. There's no need to apply. You get automatically enrolled in the benefit when Blue Cross or HealthPartners get your medical bill for care connected to diabetes. Then you automatically get savings on medications, testing supplies, and other care.

The goal of this Advantage Value for Diabetes program is to keep you healthy and reduce the risk of complications. Medical services covered under this benefit include physician and dietitian office visits related to your diabetes care and consultations with a pharmacist. It also covers diabetes-specific retinal eye exams, lab tests, and testing supplies through your pharmacy or medical coverage. Medications you take to treat diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and depression also qualify for discounts.
