Ulasan 5-bintang Kay: We stopped by Melt Confectionary as they were participating in the Vancouver Ice Cream Festival. R got a variation of the affogato (Tira-gato) and I got the ice cream nachos allowing me to try two flavours of ice cream. I would have to say that this place was a surprise hit for me as I was not expecting much. The ice cream was delicious and hit perfectly and mixed very well with the mini waffle bowls. The tira-gato was also a nice spin on the traditional affogato. Super friendly staff behind the counter. Space is a bit small so not a lot of seating although there are benches outsides as well - just be careful of the bees which would be my only complaint. Overall would highly recommend this place and can't wait to be back this summer! -
Ulasan 4-bintang Kay: Great place for drinks and desserts in the South Burnaby area. They have a few chairs and tables outside but they are mostly a to go shop. This is our third time here and we have never been disappointed. I'm a big fan of their Japanese pudding even though we didn't get one this time around. The puddings also come in the cutest jars that you can bring back for $1. We had a strawberry kind of evening with the strawberry cake and strawberry cheesecake frappe and both definitely did not disappoint! -
Ulasan 5-bintang Kay: A great new place in Vancouver for bubble tea! I got the matcha strawberry and it was delicious! They get their matcha powder from Whisk Matcha and it did not taste powdery at all. I can't wait to be back to try more of their drinks! -

Ulasan 5-bintang Kay: Only four words to say: THE BEST DOUGHNUTS EVER! I would come back here over and over again just for their Mochi donuts. Highly highly recommend! Be cautious that it can be a bit of a wait on a weekend - but if you are here just for takeout, note that you don't need to wait in line! -
Ulasan 5-bintang Kay: Cute small shop operating at the corner of a quiet intersection. Offering both coffee and teas, I was going in expecting only a coffee but came out with coffee and tea. Both cappuccino and black sesame tea latte were amazing and would not hesitate to go back for more. -
Ulasan 5-bintang Kay: We stopped by Hive Cafe along our bike ride and we were oh so impressed! It was quite a warm day so we got a cold matcha latte, a London fog popsicle, and a scone. They had seating both indoors and outdoors with good turnover. The popsicle was delicious and the matcha after hit just the spot on a summers day. They also overcharged us for a wrap we didn't order and went out of their way to fix it. Overall we highly recommend Hive Cafe and will definitely be back!

Ulasan 5-bintang Kay: I am so happy I finally got to try this new pizza place in the Burnaby area! Located in a small complex, parking can be a bit tight but with quick turnover, it didn't take us long to find a spot. There is a small seating area for dine in but I would mostly say this is a takeout spot. I was a really big fan of their pizza, in particular the blue pear. Both pizzas were extremely fresh and the combinations of flavour were spot on. Highly recommend! -
Ulasan 5-bintang Kay: Amazing place for pizza in Port Moody! They use to be a food truck near the breweries but recently opened up their own store front. This is our second time here and our first time at their store. We got the Hugh Fungus pizza to go and it was not a long wait at all to get our food (10-15 minutes) on a Friday night. The pizza was very fresh and was absolutely delicious! Highly recommended and one of my favourite places for pizza in town! -
Ulasan 5-bintang Kay: My absolute favourite place for tea in Vancouver! I have no idea how many times I've been to their previous location and ordered from their new one although this time was my first time visiting in person (and not sending someone else) and finally being able to take photos! My go to order is their hot hojicha oat misto which is 5 stars. I've also tried some of their other offerings including their bubble tea which was absolutely delicious as well. I also got their croissant this thing around (hojicha flavour) and it was very fresh and crispy. Highly highly recommend! -

Ulasan 5-bintang Kay: Hands down one of my two favourite ice cream places in Vancouver although recently this one may be moving to the top. I love their every changing seasonal flavours and this summer's roasted strawberry is a persona favourite. A MUST MUST visit for ice cream in Vancouver! -
Ulasan 5-bintang Kay: Great place for coffee in Vancouver! I got a hojicha latte and it was made with oat milk. I'm becoming a very big fan of oat milk after a few local roasters have started to use it. My partner got a pour over and quite enjoyed the tasting notes. Both very enjoyable drinks. -
Ulasan 5-bintang Kay: Finally, a matcha focused shop in Vancouver and I would have to say it exceeds all expectations. It's a collaboration between Whisk Matcha and Level V Bakery. The matcha croissant was baked to perfection and there was just enough matcha to not be overpowering. Both drinks were both deliciously made and I can't wait to come back to try more of the food and drinks. -

Ulasan 4-bintang Kay: Great place for coffee and food! They also have a few brunch items and I ended up getting the ham and cheese croissant which was delicious! I also got a sausage roll from their display case and wished there was an option to get it heated as it was a bit cold. I also wished that they offered washroom for customer use as they are currently closed for covid. Overall great for food and coffee but missing a few small things to make it excellent. -

Ulasan 5-bintang Kay: Boba Run sets itself apart from the other bubble tea shops in Vancouver with their natural ingredients with no artificial flavours. I've been on the lookout for awesome matcha drink stores in Vancouver and this absolutely fits the bill. They use matcha from Whisk Premium Matcha and it didn't have the powdery taste that a lot of matcha drinks have. I ended up getting their matcha strawberry latte and the flavors blended very well. I also tried their crystal boba as they had run out of regular boba and it was a great alternative, somewhere in between boba and jellies in texture. I will definitely be back to try some of their other offerings!

Ulasan 5-bintang Kay: One of my absolute favourite places in Vancouver for cakes and baked goods. I've been here a number of times and my favourite to get is their earl gray cake. It's usually best to preorder as sometimes their more popular items can run out. I was a bit late to the game this time around in preordering a cake for a family member's birthday and a lot of their cakes had run out for preorders. Instead, I decided to try their pear almond tart instead. And what else can I say besides "Wow!" Although not as good as their earl gray cake as their cakes are in a league of their own, the tart was not too sweet, had just enough flavour, and would definitely recommend! -
Ulasan 5-bintang Kay: A new artisan gelato shop in Steveston, and I was an instant fan! Their shop is so cute and was a big fan of the two flavours we got - pistachio and black sesame. Great to see another shop using Asian inspired flavours. Would pick Sweet Surrender over the previous Steveston gelato/ice cream staples. -
Ulasan 5-bintang Kay: Came to try Nemesis Coffee and it was DOPE! Not only did they have such a cute logo for their North Vancouver location but their cruffins (croissants plus muffins?) were absolutely delectable. It was so very flaky and I felt I could eat 50 more. It was only take away due to covid but the line moved quite quickly. Can't wait to come back for more! -
Ulasan 5-bintang Kay: Wow! Wow! Wow! We came by here on a whim and are so happy we did! We got their Danish Hotdog, Double Baked Garlic, and Salted Egg Yolk Croissant. All their baked goods were soooo fresh and delicious! Not only that, they have gotten into the salted egg yolk croissant and we are so glad they did. They only disappointing thing was that my stomach didn't have more room to get more of their baked goods. Will DEFINITELY be back for more! -

I've been here well over a dozen times and the staff here are always so friendly and my drink is always made right from cappuccinos to lattes to the good ol drip coffee. They also have some amazing baked goods! Always love coming back here for a cup of joe. -

Ulasan 5-bintang Kay: My absolutely favourite place for ramen in Vancouver! They have two locations, one in Kits and one in downtown and we have been to both locations multiple times. My go to order is the negi-goma ramen with an extra soft boiled egg and it never fails to disappoint! My partner often tries a lot of the other ramens and does not have a bad thing to say about any of them. The wait is sometimes a bit of a downer. We came in the middle of the afternoon on a rainy Sunday and had to wait about 20-25 minutes. Bathroom at this particular location is a bit small. I also did notice during covid, they didn't take down our phone number for contact tracing... However the food is absolutely top notch which is why we keep coming back time and time again. -
