This project is a relatively large project with most of the functionality available to the Notarial Council through a back-end website from the Council can update the contents of the website and manage the accounts of the Notaries members. Extra functionality to use on a daily basis such as as the official Notarial Fees Calculator to be used by the website visitors with extended features specifically available for the Notaries members. Calculations are performed according to the fees stipulated by the Maltese Laws and standards issued by the Notarial Council.

Also, the website supports various user types and the page responds according to the particular login of the users.

The website was implemented using PHP, MySQL and Cron for the backend, while HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, XML and to a lesser extent Macromedia Flash for the frontend. The website makes use of Ajax to give an enhanced user experience while browsing through the vast content and various pages of the website. Show less

The customer required a brochure site for a villa rental business. The project included the design of the front end and the implementation of both the front end and the back end. And administration page was also implemented to maintain the site with the latest data. While the implementation is not a content management site (i.e. most pages are statically created, a number of pages include information that is updated from the administration site using an XML back end). The use of the XML back end kept the price of the project relatively low in terms of hosting recurrent expenses.

The web site was created using PHP, HTML, Javascrip & JQuery, XML (using XPath and XQuery)

While little has been asked from the customer in terms of modifications on the site, the project is still on going in terms of maintenance (although these modifications are very low profile) in the past few years. Show less

Created a website with an XML back end. The project included the design of the front-end and the implementation of the back end for the site using HTML, JavaScript, CSS and other technologies. At the time the customer did not need to use an SQL server and as such we opted for the XML data back end.

The project was originally commenced while serving at Information Quality Masters Ltd., a company which I personally owned but was later transferred to the SFS Consultancy partnership.
