Acerca de
Andrés is the Managing Partner of Savia Ventures, a Latin America-based venture capital firm focused on empowering exceptional Climate-Tech entrepreneurs. Savia’s current investments include advanced materials, transport and energy tech solutions. Previous to Savia, he was the Managing Director of Engie Factory, Engie’s 20M USD LatAm-focused Corporate Venture Capital fund.
Andrés is a former board member of the Chilean Venture Capital Association and a professor of Venture Capital at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. He’s a lawyer and holds an MBA from Oxford University.
Outside of work, you can find him rock climbing, salsa dancing and occasionally hugging a tree.
He’s a strong believer in the vast potential of LatAm’s Climate-Tech entrepreneurs and is on a mission to help them scale their solutions globally.
