The Role

The Principal - Business Intelligence will be responsible for acting as a role model and strategic partner for delivering high quality reporting as well as understanding the data. They will also ensure that the meaningful analytical insight that supports the stakeholders in decision-making process is being delivered. They will lead and deliver complex, strategic projects for the global BI and/or wider AMS.

Key Accountabilities

• Effectively communicate and independently as well as proactively manage stakeholders' expectations
• Act as a trusted advisor for all the stakeholder groups
• Act as a role model and a strategic partner for the junior analysts on high quality reporting delivery, understanding the data and identifying as well as delivering opportunities for proactive analyses
• Identify, initiate and lead on the delivery of automation/improvement opportunities with different complexity level
• Proactively drive CI best practice across Global BI
• SME for creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for all reporting products
• Adhere to and serve as and SME for AMS and Client data protection policies as well as all trainings completed on time
• SME for the account as well as AMS org structure, commercials and end-to-end recruitment process
• In-depth knowledge of all aspects of the respective ATS that are critical for successful delivery as well as improved data integrity
• Act as a role model for proactively driving self-development as well as support career development in Global BI by coaching, mentoring as well as training design and delivery
• Act as a role model for AMS as well as BI key behaviours and proactively drive the right behaviours across the global BI team
• Lead and deliver complex/strategic projects with wider AMS/ global BI impact

Skills & Experience

• Complex calculations creation and amendments within Data Models
• Utilization of various functionalities for developing analytical and consultative visualizations
• Using dynamic thinking to create and maintain Power BI Dashboards
• Best practice on working with database BAs and Developers for procedures' optimisation and redundancy prevention
• Understanding and implementation of main performance drivers of PBI online server within data models
• Creating and updating complex calculations
• Building expert reporting and analytical solutions
• Utilizing various functionalities and techniques within Power Query, VBA, Charts and Graphs, Power Pivot
• Developing data processing automations
• Creating highly interactive dashboards to provide meaningful insights by using multiple data sources and multidimensional data structures
• Ability to apply dynamic segmentations and filtering to the dashboards
• Dynamic parametrization of segmentation/filters/slicers
• High dashboard/visuals/tables customization for purposeful design
• Application of non-standard visualization techniques
