It was a proud moment for AIA Malaysia when we took home two Gold awards at the ESG Positive Impact Awards Gala Night held recently. We were recognised for our outstanding efforts and commitment to Good Health and Wellbeing as well as Talent Management. These awards not only reflect but also serve to reinforce our steadfast commitment to AIA’s Purpose of helping people to live Healthier, Longer and Better Lives. Our July was filled with community engagements as close to 100 AIA employees offered their helping hands to connect with the communities around us. A shout-out to our AIA Cares Community Squad that assembled 1,500 boxes of food essentials for distribution to urban families in need. Our thanks go out to our NGO partner the Malaysian Relief Agency for welcoming our teams with open arms and giving us an opportunity to contribute to their good work. Our employees also spent a Saturday with the residents of PPR Sri Pantai KL for a morning of activities under our JOM! Ceria Bersama Vitality banner. The carnival-like health & wellness event aims to empower communities to take care of their mental and physical health in fun and engaging ways. The morning featured a mass Zumba session, health checks, sukaneka (telematch), a coloring contest for the children, and the sale of fresh vegetables by Pasar Grub.
