In preparation for the Inter Financial Institutions Badminton Championship 2024 which begins on October 5, Allianz Malaysia Berhad badminton team begun a four-week training stint with Valberg Academy in 222 Sports Centre in Petaling Jaya. The focus of the training will be more on match play and combination of various pairs for the respective categories for the team event which consists of mixed doubles, men doubles, veteran doubles, women doubles and men singles. Allianz Malaysia Chief Executive Officer and Team Captain Sean Wang said he is looking forward to the tournament. "The level for this tournament is high and we started our preparation early to meet the upcoming challenges. Our best performance was a quarter final appearance in 2022 so I would be pleased if we can emulate this. Nonetheless, we will do and give our best," said Sean. The Allianz Malaysia team consists of Sean, Gary Mark Nagan, Abdul Razak Ramlan, Kumar Kannappan, Ng Peggy, Kenneth Ho, Joson Lim, Ng Jo Ann, Cheong Ee Von, Shahrulneeza Syafiq Sadron, Rasydan Rasit, Liang Kai Qi and Elaine Fong.

On 20th August, our leaders in Allianz Malaysia gathered at Aloft Hotel for a Leadership Circle Masterclass on “Leading Across Generation”. The hybrid event saw 86 leaders attended physically and around 90 leaders joining virtually from across Malaysia for an engaging session led by Michael Teoh, CEO of Thriving Talents.
