Duopharma's Kelab PETIRR recently organized the first event for the 2024/2025 session—a fishing competition! The fishing competition was a whale of a time, with anglers casting their lines and hopes into the water, eager to catch the heaviest fish and be the first to reach the weighing station 🐟 🏆 The air was filled with laughter and camaraderie as participants hooked their prized catches. The competition was fierce, but our participants were fiercer, displaying impressive skills and determination. But beyond the prizes and the thrill of the competition, it was the sense of community and teamwork that made the day truly special. Everyone brought their A-game and shared in the joy of the catch. Kudos to all participants and committee members, your enthusiasm and hard work made this event a splashing success! We're already looking forward to our next adventure together. This month, we’re helping you on your green journey too. The everyday plastics that make life oh-so-convenient, especially for our favourite 𝙩𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙪 (takeaway) food and drinks come at a shocking cost. To spill the tea, we use enough plastic globally each year to wrap around the Earth multiple times! We’ve all been there – “𝘽𝙤𝙨, 𝙩𝙚𝙝 𝙖𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙚𝙥𝙞 𝙨𝙖𝙩𝙪!” - drinks served in a little plastic bag tied on one corner topped with a plastic straw. The everyday plastics around us have their own plastic code, but the problem is, not all of them are easily recycled here in Malaysia. Feeling confused about the numbers?
