According to the Bernama, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim hopes that continued investment and collaboration with Ericsson will position Malaysia as a leading 5G technology country globally. Malaysia's halal exports reached RM54 billion in 2023, highlighting the halal industry's potential to grow globally to US$5 trillion by 2030. The government is committed to increasing the number of entrepreneurs producing halal products through initiatives like the Jelajah Halal Malaysia (JHM) programme, which has helped over 1,800 MSMEs since its inception in 2022.
