In my experience, when a request comes in, there is usually a driving force behind it. Sometimes, the client is unable to articulate or openly say it. So it really starts with us enquiring without being defensive. Our role as an agency is about being partners and partners should have conversations instead of just receiving directions.

I believe that its important for us all to start with the right note. INTENT. What is it that we are aiming to achieve on the business and how much do we actually understand the client and the business? Knowing your own craft and skill is a given. Knowing your client, the business and the challenges they face is critical to avoid potential objections. if the starting point is correct, everything else is the enable that helps amplify. If the idea is solid, the mediums, the audience and the budgets will amplity it into a great campaign for the client and their business.
