“I have known Anja since 2012 during her early years of entrepreneurship. We were part of an entrepreneur networking organization called Rootwommers. What impressed me about Anja, even at an early stage of knowing her, was her ability to listen and absorb who you are. That leads to her building rapport very easily with people around her. The other things that is endearing about Anja is that she is never stingy with her contacts. I have always described her as a natural networker; a skill that every entrepreneur need to have. She connects very easily with others as well as being the conduit of connecting others to each other. She is also the one that introduced me to social entrepreneurship and I must say she has been exemplary in the Malaysia Social Entrepreneurship scene. Her dedication and perseverance in this field easily be felt and seen. The numerous awards and recognition she has achieved in this field validates her commitment to her art; entrepreneurship. Anja is also a voracious learner. She is a regular face in workshops, trainings and seminars. She takes time to learn new and diverse things. The proof of this can easily be when she pivoted from being a Social Entrepreneur to being a consultant in the setting-up of social enterprises and measuring od social impact. She is also involved in coaching and mentoring new social entrepreneurs with various government agency namely MaGIC (Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Center) in their numerous incubators and accelerators. I have been privy to being her peer as well as superior. Anja enjoys being in a team setting. She is always ready to help and very concern about the quality of the work the team produces. Her easy going nature also makes her a must addition to any team. I truly admire Anja as a fellow entrepreneur as well as a learning and development professional. ”
