Specializing in Cognitive Psychology, I am currently exploring the effects of bi- and multi- lingualism on the brain. With over 6 years of research experience, me and my other colleagues are hard at work to understand how language learning can alter the form and function of the brain, possibly leading to improved day-to-day cognitive functioning.
Specifically, my research hopes to address sociopolitical issues related to education quality here in Malaysia. As more people become bilingual, it is of great importance to understand the hidden benefits that bilingualism can offer. This is to give policymakers evidence to push for educational reformation in Malaysia.
Interested in discussing more on educational policies, linguistics, neuropsychology, research, data analysis and the 4th Industrial Revolution
